SB 82 had sponsor testimony today in the House Local and Municipal Government and Urban Revitalization Committee. More hearings will take place over the coming weeks. I will update everyone when we will need testimony from interested members by email and website postings.

 

However, it is appropriate to begin a letter writing, fax and email campaign to the members on the committee asking them to SUPPORT SB 82. I have attached the committee roster and all should be contacted. Please let me know how your grassroots effort is going. Sample letters are still on the website. Members should be brief and include some personal experience as to the hardships this causes if possible. Phone calls are good too because the legislators' aid will document your position as well.
